UKG is looking for a passionate Technical Support Engineer to join our team in our Atlanta or Alpharetta GA.
In this role, your main responsibility will be functionally understanding customer problems, and problem solving / debugging to troubleshoot solutions with the goal of finding the root cause and fixing issues in both data and code. This role plays a huge part in the success of our team providing world-class technical support to our customers.
You will work on the Benefits Development Team and partner closely with our product, development, and infrastructure teams to drive complex issues to resolution. This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, and you will need to handle difficult/sensitive situations with clients in a professional, timely, and thorough manner. Qualified candidates are self-starters, results-oriented, and highly-motivated to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: β’ Provide the highest level of technical support working directly with internal and external customers to resolve problems and debug in order to find the root cause and/or fix issues. β’ Handle the coordination, organization, prioritization, and documentation of many cases. β’ Organize conference calls between multiple parties (clients, other teams, etc.) β’ Identify frequently occurring issues and coordinate with Product DevelopmentInfrastructure teams as needed β’ Provide recommendations for improving existing processes and procedures β’ Participate in on-call rotations including after-hours work
**** This is a hybrid role requiring to work in either our Atlanta or Alpharetta GA office 3x week ****
Qualifications
Qualifications:
β’ 2-5 years Microsoft SQL Server query language and performance troubleshooting β’ Knowledge of reading and working with Java, JavaScript β’ Prior experience in troubleshooting Web-based SaaS applications β’ Working knowledge of client/server applications and network technologies β’ Comfortable managing multiple, high-priority issues simultaneously in a team environment β’ Strong debugging, decision-making, and problem-solving ability β’ Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and clients
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Kibana, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, MySQL, RabbitMQ experience is a plus β’ EDI
