Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role would report to SVP, Service and based in San Jose, CA.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide escalation support to the Bay Area RMCC team to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare reports and metrics on RMCC operations
• Responsible for monthly customer reports to Finance groups
• Work with other teams to develop tools to help RMCC scale
• Support Field Service during commissioning and testing of new systems
• Monitor customer performance and conformance to Performance Guarantee and Warranty Metrics
• Manage and resolve customer performance/other issues
• Mentor and train technicians
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's in Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Materials/Energy Systems Engineering required
• Navy Nuclear qualification a plus
• Worked in DCS / SCADA environment
• Familiarity with Python and SQL
• Technical knowledge in electrochemistry or Fuel cell operation (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valve and valve operation
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (natural gas, propane & hydrogen)
• Experience in basic IT Software requirement/installation (Windows OS, MS-Office)
• Must be a HIGHLY effective communicator at all levels (phone, e-mail & verbal)

Salary Ranges:

$91,800.00 - $132,200.00
