Technical Support Engineer Specialist

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTIONExpert level role individual contributor role. Highly experienced professional with broad experience and unique knowledge. Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems. Is regarded as a leader and expert in their field. May coordinate and guide the work of others. Barriers to entry, senior management review required.
