Your Role and Responsibilities
As Technical Support Professional you will:

• specialize in performing and enabling remote technical support of IBM software hardware and solutions
• provide technical support assistance to clients and use problem determination/problem source identification skills
• use technical and negotiation skills in collaboration with other support operations/organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution.
• communicate action plans to the client or IBM representative as appropriate
• recommend and implement new or improvements to existing technical support tools procedures and processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Windows / Linux/Unix (advanced user)
• Experience with Scripting bash / bat (user level)
• Experience with Databases / SQL (advanced user level)
• Understanding of:
  • client server architecture
  • networks
  • communication protocols
  • secure communication
  • virtualization

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in IT support
• Experience in OS Administration
• Experience in database administration
