Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to be a part of our IT team. This role will play an integral part of helping support our team growing team here at Turtle Rock Studios. This individual will collaborate with IT team and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for Windows workstations, software, hardware, printers, game consoles, and display devices. You will also help with troubleshooting, imaging and deployment tools, documentation, maintenance, and end-user support. This individual will report to IT Manager.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the IT team to provide comprehensive support for Windows workstations, software, hardware, printers, game consoles, and display devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for workstations and server connections
- Utilize imaging and deployment tools to efficiently provision and manage standardized workstations
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Provide exceptional end-user support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and a positive user experience
- Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance windows to perform system updates and maintenance
- Continuously expand knowledge of IT systems and industry best practices to improve support capabilities
- Solid understanding of PC building, maintenance, and operation
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts for workstations and server connectivity
- Familiarity with common corporate application suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Proficient in Windows desktop operating systems and understanding of Windows Active Directory Domains
- Strong interest in games and dedication to providing an excellent player experience
- Passion for IT systems, with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Capability to handle the physical demands of the position
- Exposure to Linux systems
- Interest in system security and best practices
- 1-3 years of experience as a help desk or desktop support technician
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management processes

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
