Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
As a Technical Support Specialist at FreeBalance, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success by delivering quality and timely technical services during and after implementing our products to our customers for all project deployments. Drawing upon your product/database/solutions expertise and serve as a subject matter expert for technical analysis and specification efforts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer technical issues and requirements and facilitate solutions;
- Analyze technical requirements and tailor software solutions using FreeBalance software tools;
- Provide timely and accurate responses to the functional support team on issue resolution
- Collaboratively develop and deliver technical training to clients
- Â Act as primary technical contact for the client during deployment and post-implementation
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to Government
- Support development of new or modify existing custom solutions, including reports and dashboards
- Support Data Migration exercises for the Client
- Support routine upgrades to the FreeBalance Software
- Willing to travel in the APAC Region, especially in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea
Qualifications:
- University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Programming, or related field;
- Knowledge of enterprise hardware systems, networks, application software, and database systems will be considered an asset;
- Must have experience in using Business Intelligence, Dashboard and Reporting solutions, Pentaho knowledge required, BIRT or Crystal Reports experience considered an asset;
- Experience in providing technical solutions/support for data migration and interfaces will be considered an asset;
- Excellent client management and organization ability;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in English.
