This entry level Technical Support Specialist role primarily consists of providing support for ADTRAV system. This would include, but is not limited to, RezTools (such as RezDesk, RezConfirm, RezOptions), and our online booking tools (Concur and GetThere). This position will also include an opportunity to learn and work on troubleshooting problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, network and peripheral equipment problems.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support by phone and email regarding to internal and external customers for ADTRAVs online tools.
  • Read/Follow up on support emails throughout the day.
  • Running scheduled tasks throughout the week for multiple accounts.
  • Working with product support to solve issues with accounts.
  • Working with the online booking tools on simple implementation tasks.
  • Working with the BSG department on solutions, programming requests, and various systems maintenance.
  • Determine minimal use-case to recreate issues, solve issues if possible, or provide concise details to development for further analysis and resolution
  • Triage issues relating to development or network issues.
  • Assists in instructing staff in the use of standard business and administrative software, including word processing, spreadsheets and database management; provides instruction or written documentation where required.
  • Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software
  • Process documentation.
  • Troubleshoots problems with computer systems

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools is required. More in depth training on Microsoft tools can be provided by ADTRAV through our Learning Management System if needed.
  • Background or Experience in IT is a plus. More in depth training on IT/Helpdesk tasks can be provided by ADTRAV through our Learning Management System if needed.
  • Knowledge of a GDS System preferred
