Job Summary

Provides first and second level technical installation and support in the corporate and branch offices, on site work required 1-2 days per week at our Downtown Chicago Loop office (120 S Lasalle Dr. Chicago, IL 60603).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provides telephone and in-person technical support to resolve technical problems and basic how-to questions.
  • Prioritizes, logs and tracks all calls and requests through their resolution and completion.
  • Researches and resolves technical problems.
  • Manages assigned projects and tasks on time and within budget.
  • Moves and installs computer equipment as needed.
  • Configures all system hardware and software for computer workstations.
  • Performs light server operating system and application administration duties including but not limited to adding/deleting users, creating and managing groups and group membership, system security, installing files. Responsible for managing and monitoring system backups and minor restores.
  • Notifies management of all significant events that will or may result in a dissatisfied user, system outage, breach of company computer policies, virus problem, or other related computer misconduct.
  • Maintains a proactive, positive relationship with the user population in the corporate and branch offices.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as directed.
  • On-site work required 1-2 days per week at the Downtown office.
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of PC's.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, MS Office, Google Workspace, MacOS a plus.
  • Proven Customer Service and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for use in transporting equipment and traveling to branch offices.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of IT experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college/certifications preferred.
  • Real Estate experience a plus.
