Technical Writer

Viam's products are built by engineers, for engineers. We want to build a platform we would want to use ourselves. Creating technical documentation of our products is essential for the success of our users. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating the foundation of Viam’s technical documentation.

• Writing the documentation for Viam’s products
• Creating the foundation of our technical documentation
• Setting up Viam’s writing style
• Helping build the layout and information architecture of our documentation

• Understand high level coding concepts
• Worked with hardware and/or software
• Experience in technical writing
• Strong written communication skills
• Has an affinity to hard sophisticated problems, and loves solving them with practical solutions
• User focused
• Wants to work with physical hardware, but doesn’t necessarily have experience doing so
