Technical Writer

Are you great at making complex tasks and concepts easy to understand and engaging? We're looking for a Technical Writer to help our users better understand and use our product portfolio. Your writing will communicate the capabilities and value of our products, showing users how to use and benefit from them. If you are comfortable with complex technology and believe in providing users with an ideal experience, this is the job for you. 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to shape content from raw technical documents into public-facing documentation 
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements 
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
• Take responsibility for revisions as products are updated
• Develop instructional examples for new products and features
• Conduct internal research and partner closely with the development team and product manager to identify and develop technical documentation 
• Assist with whitepaper development and review 

ABOUT YOU: 

• Experience working with high-tech products and organizations; Cloud or SaaS product experience highly desirable 
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail 
• Experience working with engineering teams to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content 
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
• Must be collaborative, curious, and have strong initiative to take on new, complex projects
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative
• Successful in identifying and gathering necessary information and producing value-added content based on this information
• Ability to adapt quickly and work successfully in an evolving environment
• Can research and learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies as needed
