This role is ideal for a writer with a strong focus on technical content. While we’re not looking for an expert in every topic we cover, we seek someone who is comfortable with conducting the necessary research, interviewing subject matter experts, ideation, and execution across a variety of formats and channels. If you’re someone who can confidently contribute to a broad spectrum of technical writing initiatives, this is the role for you.

This role can be remote but US-based.

Salary range: $65K-80K

Position Overview

The Technical Writer will play a pivotal role in highlighting iPullRank’s innovative expertise across modern semantic technical SEO, LLMs, and Generative AI technology. This specialist position requires a creative thinker who thrives on variety, can balance multiple projects, and enjoys crafting impactful technical advanced content. You’ll collaborate across teams to elevate iPullRank’s thought leadership, support our marketing team, and grow our brand presence.

• Content Planning: Contribute to the development of comprehensive technical content assets that align with iPullRank’s brand pillars and marketing goals. Provide feedback on content briefs. Perform market analysis and research on competition.
• Editorial Calendar: Contribute to our editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
• Thought Leadership: Create messaging and narratives that position iPullRank as a leader in SEO, generative AI, and content strategy.
• Content Performance Analysis: Establish personal KPIs to track the effectiveness of content initiatives and refine strategies as needed.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed on SEO, content, and AI trends, as well as competitor activity, to identify new content opportunities.

Execution

• Content Creation: Contribute to the production of high-quality, engaging content across formats such as blog posts, how-tos, e-books, case studies, video scripts, sales collateral, website copy, email copy, product copy, white paper industry reports, technical analysis, and social media. 
• Collaboration: Work with designers, developers, and external freelancers to create cohesive, on-brand technical materials.
• Revisions: Incorporate feedback and edits into your written pieces.
• Governance: Maintain consistency in tone and quality across all content.

Must Haves For this Position

• Experience: 2–5 years in content marketing or a related field, preferably within SEO or digital marketing.
• Technical Mindset: Comfortable working across multiple technical content formats and channels, with a strong focus on ideation and writing.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional technical writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles, technical SEO tools, SEO processes, and how content impacts organic search performance.
• AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technology and how content impacts performance.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to track and measure content performance to inform strategy.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and multiple projects effectively.
• Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Semrush, ChatGPT, and other marketing and AI platforms.
