Summary
At AxisCare, we are transforming home care operations to help agencies focus on providing excellent care to seniors. As a Technical Writer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our mission by creating high-quality documentation for our software solutions, enabling our users to succeed.
Key Responsibilities: 

• Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including help articles for our customer agencies.
• Collaborate closely with customer success, software engineering, and product management teams to document new features and address a backlog of documentation needs.
• Develop in-app help text, tutorials, and other user guidance to improve customer understanding and engagement.
• Work with subject-matter experts to ensure accurate, user-focused content.
• Generate innovative content strategies for delivering information effectively to users.
• Solicit feedback from users to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
• Contribute to team retrospectives and brainstorm ways to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technical writing experience in a SaaS environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and a small, dynamic team.
• Communicates complex concepts clearly and concisely for diverse audiences.
• Works independently, meets deadlines, and stays organized.
• Enjoys learning new tools and skills to adapt to evolving needs.
• Engages effectively with team members both onsite and remotely, with a Central Time Zone schedule.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Cross-Functional Teams: Track record of collaborating across multiple disciplines, including product, engineering, and support teams, to deliver impactful results.
• Experience in home care or other healthcare domain.
• Portfolio showcasing your approach and results.
