Technical Writer

RESPEC is seeking a technical writer for a position located in Reno Nevada. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for coordinating, reviewing and including project derived data in a comprehensive report suitable for publication on the Canadian Securities Exchange and US Securities Exchange Commission.

This is a temporary part-time position and hours will vary. It is an ideal position for someone looking to, or already retired from the mining industry or someone who wants to stay local looking to get back into the industry.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor of science degree in geology, geological engineering, or related field
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience working as a geologist
• Familiarity with project databases, QA/QC programs, and drill-sample collection
• Experience with a variety of commodities and deposit types
• Experience with Canadian NI 43-101 and/or SK1300 reporting is a plus.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, plus statutory insurance requirements.
