CACI is in search of a Technical Writer (Intermediate) to support critical software development activities for PM Mission Command (PM MC) and the Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems. in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Get to Do:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

You will write and edit technical documentation for the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation.

In addition, you will create code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and

other available resources.

More About the Role:

The Technical Writer for Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems is an on-the-move, networked mission command information system that enables units to share near real-time friendly and enemy situational awareness information, share common operation maps and graphics, transmit and receive command and control messages, and conduct interactive communications via chat rooms. Within Mounted Mission Command are four Programs of Record, Software, Network, Transport, and Compute and Store. Mounted Mission Command-Software is one of three major components of the Army Common Operation Environment and will interface and share data with other computing environments.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing for advanced engineering applications
• Experience writing technical specifications, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for internal documentation, customer reference or publications
• Experience analyzing technical literature available, writing descriptive copy, and verifying documentation.
• Ability to edit, write, and/or rewrite technical articles, publications, presentations, and other materials to communicate clearly and effectively on research findings, technical developments, and other information to a wide range of external audiences
• Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks
