Our Internal Products team is looking for a Content Strategy Analyst / Technical Writer to deliver technical content that allows clients to navigate EshopWorld self-service tools and optimizes the customer user experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about the developer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities

• Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for software products, including user guides, API documentation, technical manuals, release notes, and online help.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other team members to gather information, understand software functionality, and document features accurately.
• Standardize Documentation: Establish and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency across all documents.
• Edit and Review: Edit and proofread documentation created by other team members, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• User-Centric Documentation: Write documentation with the end-user in mind, ensuring technical information is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Content Management: Maintain and update documentation repositories, ensuring all documents are current and easily accessible.
• Feedback Incorporation: Collect and incorporate feedback from users and customers to continuously improve documentation quality.
• Tool Proficiency: Apply various documentation tools and platforms, such as content management systems, markdown editors, and graphic design software to create and manage documentation.

Requirements

• Technical Writing Experience: Proven experience as a technical writer, particularly in the software development industry.
• Software Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development concepts, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, and software frameworks is a plus.
• Writing and Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Research Skills: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics.
• Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Tools and Technologies: Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, and Git.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or an equivalent. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Industry Certifications: Certifications in technical writing or related fields.
• Experience with Agile: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Graphic Design Skills: Ability to create diagrams, screenshots, and other visual aids to enhance documentation.
• Localization Experience: Experience in creating documentation for international audiences and understanding localization requirements.
