We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our tech client’s commercial enterprise services team and write content focused on Security, Compliance, and Trust.
*This is a remote opportunity however, PST working hours are preferred.

Summary:
The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
Job Responsibilities:
• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publicationQualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
• 5-7 years experience required
• Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to read some programming code
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsTop 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. GitHub | 5+ Years of Experience
2. Fullstack (documentation for end-end process) | 5+ Years of Experience
3. Knowledge of any coding language (such as python, C#, .NET) | 5+ Years of ExperiencePlease provide a portfolio or samples of previous technical documentation attached to submission, there is a high preference for candidates with a portfolio/samples.
Compensation Range: $50-$55/hr.
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
