Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer with active MSBI Clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for software systems, business processes, and government projects. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure documentation meets project requirements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, system guides, FAQs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, and project managers to gather technical information.

• Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.

• Ensure documentation complies with MSBI security protocols and standards.

• Participate in peer reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Update and maintain document repositories using content management systems.

• Support training initiatives by creating presentations and instructional materials.

• Assist in proposal writing and documentation for government contracts.

Required Qualifications:

• Active MSBI Clearance (Mandatory).

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a government or defense environment.

• Proficiency in technical writing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, RoboHelp, or MadCap Flare).

• Familiarity with government standards, compliance regulations, and document templates.

• Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and IT systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
