ASRC Federal Mission Solutions (AFMS) is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFMS is seeking a Technical Writer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Sustainment and Modification of Radar Sensors (SMORS) contract.

Role/Responsibilities:

Works on the SMORS contract supporting the review and development of the ground-based radars' technical documentation. Writes and/or edits complex engineering specifications, user manuals, reports, briefings and presentations, guidelines, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements. Develops, revises, and produces technical orders' change pages. Reviews content of technical documentation for quality. Ensures proper application of applicable government standards and guidelines for technical writing.

This position is offering an annual salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. This position is offering a pay range of $52,576.00- $89,358.00 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements

Required Experience:

Associate degree and 4 years applicable experience or Bachelor's degree and 2 years applicable experience.

Desired Experience:

Familiarity with ground-based radars or DoD mission systems.
