Technical Writer

We work with North American and global mobile operators and CPaaS companies to register Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging Campaigns. We are a profitable startup with a dynamic environment. Our products are both platform and API based and address different stakeholders in the telecommunication/CPaaS industries.

We are ideally seeking candidates in the Vienna VA area who can work a hybrid schedule. Also open to hybrid candidates in Reston VA, Santa Clara CA, Atlanta GA, or Matawan NJ.

Responsibilities • Produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products • Write API documentation: develop documents containing code samples, use cases, authentications, and other resources • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities • Create and maintain the information architecture • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements

Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements • 7+ years proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail • Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/Open API • Experience with markup languages such as Markdown, HTML • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and flows • Excellent written skills in English • Strong working knowledge of Atlassian suite • Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
