Technical Writer, Energy Storage Systems

Job Responsibility:
•Development and localization of technical materials for lithium-ion battery storage products
• Compose concise and targeted technical contents, including installation manuals, user guides, and    FAQs using various authoring tools
• Translate technical materials such as manuals, whitepapers, drawings between English and Chinese
• Evaluate technical instructional materials for installers and operators
• Work with engineering team to identify gaps in existing document library and develop written, image, and other media content.
• Publish and maintain templates for written documentation: technical specifications, RFP responses, etc., ensuring consistent audience experience.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables

Key Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or 2+ years of energy industry-related work experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Visio), Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Exemplary communication skills, with proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Experience creating technical documentation audiences with different levels of technical skill
• Strong attention to detail, strong personal organization
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English

  Nice-to-have:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup
• Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, workflows, graphs, etc.
• Experience managing document libraries on Microsoft SharePoint
• Mechanical, hardware, or manufacturing writing experience
