Technical Writer - Engineering

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating technical documents, product specification sheets and user/installation manuals to explain complex product information in a clear and concise manner for our customers. You will work closely with the Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing teams to ensure the accuracy of product data and its availability on our channels.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Work with subject matter experts to gather information and develop comprehensive product documentation that meets organizational standards
• Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
• Write, edit, and format technical documents, including user manuals, technical reports, and instructional materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for approval and to ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the needs of the target audience
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, or a related field with 3+ years of experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Experience with technical writing tools and software such as InDesign
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
