Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is one of leading business departments in Corporate Bank working with clients around the globe. It has great dependency on IT platform to service the Bank’s clients. The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services for customers as well as to achieve the next level of business processes automation.

In-house IT team already achieved remarkable success designing, building, and rolling out into production its strategic platform for TF&L business. Based on that success there is a further desire to build towards our strategic architecture.

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team of developers and create high-quality documentation for our platform. You will handle writing user guides, API reference manuals, and other technical content that helps our clients and technology partners to understand and use our software effectively.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in technical writing, as well as a good understanding of technology. You will collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and feedback. You should also be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Quick learning, partnership and Agile spirit are essential components of the ongoing transformation of the leading Trade Finance Bank in Europe and globally.

Your key responsibilities

• Write clear and concise technical documentation for our Java-based products, such as user guides for business users, API reference manuals for technical colleagues.

• Review and edit existing documentation for style, consistency, clarity, and quality.

• Set up the approach to manage technical and users' documentations for multiple applications.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

• Participate in user feedback and subject matter expert sessions, make proposals on how to enhance the knowledge base.

Your skills and experiences

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the software industry.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.

• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT and Markdown.

• Understanding of common design patterns and technologies.
