Who we are looking for:
Eventus Solutions Group is seeking a versatile technical writer with an aptitude for constructing knowledge management content for the public sector. This position is for project-based employment (1 year) starting mid-September. The articles written will be intended for use in an internal agent-facing contact center. This type of transactional knowledge focuses less on unnecessary background or detail and more on speed, accuracy, and on-point issue resolution. You will partner with members of the Eventus Knowledge Management consulting team and client stakeholders. As part of the interview process, transactional content writing samples will be requested and a writing test will be conducted.
How you'll make an impact:• Create internal and external facing knowledge articles accessible to audiences with mixed levels of experience• Translate complex or poorly-written documents into clear, concise, and comprehensible information• Learn and use client preferred knowledge management authoring tools• Independently follow established style guidelines maintaining contextual accuracy and stylistic consistency• Collaborate within a review and approval workflow that may include both Eventus and client resources• Conduct regular peer reviews with an eye for accuracy, completeness, and formatting• Correct formatting issues caused by HTML markup
Qualifications for success:• 5 or more years of experience writing transactional knowledge content that focuses on efficient issue resolution• Works efficiently and productively with minimal supervision• Communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality documentation• Reading comprehension and the ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of a variety of business products and services• Experience transforming the layout of a document to increase visual appeal, allow easy scanning and at-a-glance comprehension• Writing style that adapts to various content types including technical documentation, informational descriptions, reference materials, business policy, procedural step-by-step instructions, FAQs, and training guides• Experience using knowledge management collaboration tools such as Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.• Experience with HTML markup

Applicants can expect to make between $90,000 to $100,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon experience, skills, certifications, education among other factors as required in the job description.
