Title:
Technical Writer (Top Secret)
Requirements:
TS/SCI cleared Minimum 50% LOE in NRL-DC SCIF on a set schedule. Desired ramp to 100% Will be supporting tech writing and program support for two sets of programs (ARC & MATRIC) - total teams size is 50+ personnel High competency with Microsoft product suite especially Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook Good interpersonal communication skills. Must work well in a collaborative team environment Excellent technical writing skills.
Regular Tech Writing Duties:
Reviewing and refining Powerpoint presentations for consistency, format, grammar, spelling, appearance, classification+portion marking, etc. Reviewing and refining Word reports for consistency, format, grammar, spelling, appearance, classification+portion marking, etc.
Working with Code 1006 & SSO to internally publish SCI documents/reports
Proposal support: consolidating and writing first drafts; ensuring compliance with RFPs; merging inputs from numerous teammates; submitting final, polished proposal Posting chart content for customer consumption Facilitate document review process and maintain configuration management of in-process and released documents
Regular Program Support Coordination Duties:
Coordinating incoming visits with customers (~4x/month)
working with security + front desk to pass VRs and ensure customers can get on base and into the building with ease
booking conference rooms and ensuring readiness for customer meetings
Coordinating outgoing visits to customer sites; pass VRs and following up to ensure NRLers (~1x/month) Driving Powerpoint charts for on-site customer meetings Maintain team roster (& org chart) on high side and low side. Facilitate administrative on-boarding for new team members with badge requests, account requests, access requests, Interface with SPACENET for basic IT services, etc.
The SOP for these things has been established. Personnel available for training. The task is to shepherd to ensure processing is not halted
Help maintain team Confluence and wiki pages (high side and low side) Track NRL & MRC Assets and update their status/location in MATRIC's Resource Management System (RMS) and participate in finding assets during Audits.
Facilitate rotating equipment in and out of the building for calibration/repair (2-3 pieces per month)
Track personnel leave requests and inputs information into RMS system.
Occasional Duties:
Graphic design to support proposals and presentations Data management: Document scanning, low-high side data transfers
