Overview
Highlight is seeking a Technical Writer to join a program supporting the Contract Management division within a behavioral health organization at HHS.
Responsibilities
This individual will provide note-taking during the grants Peer Review objective review meetings and writing the Technical Review Summary Reports. Responsible for taking comprehensive notes at each technical review session to accurately capture Reviewers' verbal comments and discussions; compiling the Reviewers' written technical reviews into the Technical Review Summary Report; forwarding the complete, edited and proofread Technical Review Summary Report to the COR or CO in a timely manner; and making any changes to the Technical Review Summary Report, as required by the COR or CO, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in editing and/or technical writing.
- Must be proficient in note-taking, proofreading, and writing.
- Experience in preparing summary statements, or document equivalent work to summarizing a meeting.
- Must be able to provide the necessary expertise for appropriate and accurate content and editorial review needed to achieve a high standard of excellence in content, syntax, grammar, and style, including attention to the match between target audience and content level.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
