Nature & Scope:

A Technology Architect (TA) in the emerging solutions space stays advised of the latest emerging trends, recommends innovative solutions that address the organization's gap to trends with digital-first approach. They build a technical roadmap plotting current and future systems, stabilize and optimize the IT and Cloud operations investments to realize the value out of architecture. They are creative and thoughtful about applying technology to improve processes, building narratives to support it with influential storyline.

An Emerging Tech TA applies their experience into designing complex process maps built on cloud native architectures, in the realm of Internet of Things (IoT) interacting with interfaced BI and Advanced Analytics applications, work closely with rapid application development teams using agile approaches like DevOps and CI/CD, cloud engineering/operations, blending in information security and data privacy governance policies seamlessly into an end-to-end scalable operational framework for the enterprise.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Bring an upbeat, positive demeanor while enjoying working with an agile team to develop innovative digital solutions.
  • Influence through thought partnership, guide by serving as the liaison between business partners, senior leaders, and enterprise technology teams towards ensuring good operational, security and quality practices are established, maintaining the cloud health metrics across platforms.
  • Engage with Digital Transformation savvy teams to build and enable digital roadmaps across the Product and Supply Chain functions, ensure effective integration across networks and cloud platforms like AWS Azure and Google
  • Educate and Guide enterprise techno-functional teams as they build end to end solutions with vetting out business process alignment, standards across systems, coding guidelines across applications and integration flows over on-prem/cloud/hybrid architectures.
  • Evaluate commercial off the shelf software for suitability and integration with existing eco systems.
  • Enable/Advocate technology solutions using the Enterprise Continuum principles- explore, retain/sustain or consolidate/retire applications/systems/platforms, with an approach for balancing agile delivery of business objectives with long term stability.
  • Communicate technical architecture direction and how it relates to business objectives to all levels of the organization through compelling storytelling, training, and educate awareness, manage organizational change through process and people continuous improvement lens.
  • Formulate criteria, technology standards, and use cases for and implement proofs-of-concept for innovative approaches.
  • Carry a strong senior leader presence through candor and setting priorities.
  • Advise and monitor critical Platform/Cloud Heath/Cost/Stability metrics, risks, and inform the value realized through progressive reporting tools

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess -

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience with complex organizational implementations, experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications like SAP Salesforce and cloud/IoT platforms like AWS Azure Google required.
  • Proven knowledge in software development methodologies like Azure DevOps, standards in process modelling like Device Provisioning/Identity Management, application/Code Base lifecycle management via CI/CD toolsets like Terraform, automated code deployment/code quality review/ testing tools is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability in the design, development, implementation, and integration of digital technology via Agile standards/DevOps for Connected Devices (shopfloor/industry automation or consumer products) with related Advanced Analytics tool sets is required.
  • Facilitate creation and upkeep of defined IoT/Cloud operations and procedures supporting these operations to set the appropriate monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution ensuring good platform health metrics, cost management of cloud compute, sustained availability with reliable response times across the connected devices architecture.
  • Exposure to consumer facing mobile apps integrations with cloud for device control, telemetry/user data exchange across the residential/commercial/corporate networks, security standards around using cloud identity providers like Google/Azure B2B tenants is a plus.
  • Preferred exposure to endpoint security and governance frameworks like SOC2, data privacy (PII), compliance and audit needs
  • Experience with M&A Integrations and managing organizational change a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate teams to effective decision making, prioritization and corrective action of lessons learned.

Hiring Range: $114,800.00 - $180,400.00
