Job Summary:
The Manager -Technology Enablement (Technical BDM) will be part of a growing, dynamic, highly focused Technology Enablement team responsible for developing new, and expanding existing opportunities in the global IT market with a focus on telecommunication, 5G and the suites of advanced solutions supporting these subject domains. The ideal candidate will be required to work with customers from ground to executive level, develop and close business, manage projects hand in hand with internal and external teams, and help grow the business whenever possible. Customer and solution focus are two key factors for this position, as well as business continuity and support. The candidate must work with multiple departments to ensure new projects and existing projects are initiated or maintained towards customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Gathering application, solution, and business requirements from the customer, including forward interaction and promotion of Supermicro products• Design and implementation of customer solutions with products and platforms available, both on and off roadmap and with external ecosystem partners• Leading training and education efforts on Supermicro and market technology, focused on customer needs and requirements• Collaboratewith Sales, Engineering, Management, and Operation teams to initialize or support business at the customer and Supermicro• Supervising, guidance of customer projects and delivery together with Sales and Operation teams.• Attention to detail is a must for projects, which may include many moving parts in the equation both in closing complex business transactions as well as guiding the delivery of Supermicro solutions.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent through experience) and 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications market vertical, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training• Deep understanding of 5G standards and telecommunication requirements with carriers, mobile operators and developing communications providers• Working experience in/or servicing tier 1 and 2 telecom carriers in the US and Europe with networking technology and hardware solution• Customer focused and analytical mindset with good verbal and written communication skills for both laymen and technical correspondence• Strong project management skill - ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks simultaneously• Ability to draw upon technical and/or product knowledge in configuration of Supermicro or related products

Salary Range: $85,000 - $157,000
