Technology Lead

The Technology Lead is responsible for defining and implementing the technology vision and strategy across our multi-functional software engineering practice. This role ensures alignment of technology resources by establishes engineering frameworks, standards, and patterns, and drives innovation and continuous improvement across technology software development, platform development and cloud offerings.

The Technology Lead should be a strategic thinker, technical visionary, and able to balance strategic execution with technical leadership. This role has a breadth of knowledge across the technical landscape and is familiar with all assets of the Systems Development Life Cycle across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the implementation of the technology strategy across multiple competencies / chapters for the division
• Establishing and defining the engineering frameworks and tools to be used by the division
• Defining and establishing the engineering standards and patterns to be used by the division
• Assist leadership and delivery teams with understanding and deploying software platforms and solutions to clients
• Design prototype solutions and participate in the building of POCs for new business opportunities
• Work with Pre-Sales to develop sales opportunities and solutions for clients
• Represent software engineering capabilities in customer engagements
• Collaborate with partners and other software vendors to develop technically capable teams to meet business demand and platform development
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the technology function
• Accountable for stablishing and ensuring standards across the analysis, development and quality engineering chapters ensuring
• Manage technical architects and technical leads ensuring accountability and standards are maintained for all platforms and applications

Experience required:

• 10 + years relevant working in a senior technology role
• Proven and demonstrated experience architecting, leading development teams and delivering platforms and solutions to the market
• Experience as a Technical Lead on large-scale integration projects involving multiple interfaces, agencies/departments and stakeholders
• Experience at leading and building up the capabilities of multiple software development teams
• Advanced technology skillset with broad knowledge and exposure to multiple technologies and domains
• Extensive industry knowledge with a strategic view of the future
• Ability to interpret and document technical designs, physical architectures and logical system architectures
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environments
• Must be interested in hands on problem solving, platform or solution delivery actively participating in a technical team environment
• Experience in delivery of software using an Agile methodology, Scrum preferred
• Ability to delegate efficiently

Bachelor's Degree: Computer and Information Science (Required)
