As we scale, we must bring on an experienced Technology Manager to drive DevOps and Site Reliability outputs while leading a team of direct and matrixed engineers to maximize feature velocity, maintain high availability, continuously improve performance, and champion data security standards. This leader will bring a passion for driving innovation, solving complex challenges, and transforming critical systems to a centralized model to ensure the highest level of security, availability, scalability, and performance.
What You'll Do Here

• Oversee technical aspects of the company's overall technology strategy to ensure alignment with business goals
• Research, vet, and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantages
• Monitor system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Develop and drive KPIs to assess team and technology performance as a business impact
• Manage a global team of Internal Operations engineers and technology specialists responsible for the security, availability, scalability, and performance of critical software, systems, and platforms
• Drive continuous improvement efforts, security focus, research, design, development, implementation, integration, and updating of critical software, systems, and platforms
• Own performance, measurement, automation, quality, and reliability of internal platforms to enable cross-functional collaboration and efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize production issues, design effective, efficient policies and requirements to meet business requirements, ensure timely, quality deliverables, and coach internal groups and end-users to drive positive enforcement of best practices
• Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems
• Provide guidance and input to leadership decisions to enable the most impactful and beneficial technology solutions to support business performance and growth
• Lead implementation and management of observability and monitoring tools, incident management, and SLO/SLI,SLA initiatives
• Participate in an escalation on-call rotation as required to ensure continuous reliability of internal technologies

Requirements
What You'll Bring to the Table

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within a DevOps, SRE, or Technology leadership role
• Demonstrated experience building and leading complex IT business functions within a high-performing, high-growth organization with competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience in IT strategic planning, organization design, leadership, development, and operational management
• Expertise in major change management, including process re-engineering and complex legacy systems transformation
• Expertise in meeting commercial and public-sector cybersecurity requirements
• Highly proficient with regulatory controls and compliance related to staffing, HR, and accounting functions
• Highly proficient with developing and driving the implementation of relevant KPIs to improve performance at the functional and enterprise levels
• Highly proficient with designing solutions to implement, integrate, and transform enterprise technology solutions to drive towards a SPOG end-user interface experience
• Highly proficient with CI/CD pipeline process
• Highly proficient with Agile/Scrum development
• Experienced in automating manual tasks, SLO/SLI implementation, and improving reliability with process automation, QA testing, enterprise platform administration, and process improvement
• Experienced in system design, modular system design, event-driven architecture, and data security best practices
• Experienced in application performance monitoring tools and big-data reporting
• Experienced in driving issues to conclusions and supporting the development of sustainable and scalable solutions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional ability to present and speak on highly technical topics and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and effective time management abilities to drive multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Intuitive leadership abilities to provide direct supervision to reports as well as strategic leadership and vision to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
