Role Overview:

Leads the activities of one or more scrum teams. Assists with the budget of cost center. Assists with long and short-term strategic direction for the functional team for multiple applications. Serves as primary contact to the Technology leadership team and business partners. Assists in the development and career planning for all team members. The team will be executing in Scrum/Kanban fashion, be a partner to the Cyber Security & Technical domain tech teams and will be responsible for the work prioritization for the team and be a representative of the body of work in backlog, ready and WIP.

Primary Responsibilities:

People Leadership

• Participating in our engineering culture, with an emphasis on contributing ideas, thoughts, and constructive feedback regarding the work of others on our team.
• Interviewing and assisting with onboarding and training individual contributors as they join the team.
• Assisting & leading a team of engineers & scrum master on their agile transformation journey including performance management, career planning, technical implementation guidance around change, build/release management, product ownership and product direction to meet the business need. Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and creativity.
• Technical Leadership
• Recommend, design, and deliver effective solutions for challenging problems of medium to high complexity in the areas of:
  • End Point Protection
    • Antivirus / Anti-malware
    • End Point Detection Response
    • Device Encryption
    • System Hardening
  • Monitoring & Security Programs
    • Database Activity Monitoring solutions
    • Threat Intelligence Platforms
    • Phishing reporting agents
• Act as a lead responsible for the planning, completion, and coordination of work activity for projects for your engineering team
• Perform the role of Application Owner or Technical Owner including tasks like
  • Disaster recovery planning
  • Vulnerability management
  • Audit / compliance management
• Competence in NIST / ISO Cybersecurity & Risk based frameworks

Functional (Domain) Leadership

• Perform complex analysis, and summarize to senior leaders in simple language
• Document functional specifications, and use a combination of technical and domain knowledge to propose solutions and product features
• Participate/Contribute to requirements and analysis discussion with stakeholders

Process Leadership

• Assure Processes & procedures are documented in the corporate knowledgebase
• Constantly look for opportunities to automate and make the workflows and processes efficient
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand cause and effect of process change
