Technology Partner Solutions Architect

The Product Partnerships team is focused on building a modern data and AI Stack platform ecosystem. With over one hundred ISV partners established in our ecosystem, we're just getting started. As part of the team you will build deep relationships with the best companies in the data and AI space. You will guide ISV partners to develop new integrations and improve product portfolio by working with and providing feedback to engineering. From that base, you will foster customer opportunities by using the ISV Partner Ecosystem. You will report to the Sr. Director of Technology Partners.

The impact you will have:

• Technology partners will be able to integrate with the Databricks platform in a way that is additive for our mutual customers and prospects
• Technology partners will be supported in development, testing, validating, shipping, and marketing of their integrations
• You will create value identification of partnerships to customers, Databricks, and partners
• Are joint solutions additive and useful
• You will provide actionable feedback to Product Engineering and Partners
• On the usefulness from their proposed solutions
• Enhancement requests to existing integrations
• Enhancement requests to platform
• You will validate artifacts (blogs, PR's) from a technical perspective
• You will make sure industry events of consequence (DAIS, partner user conferences) are supported and Databricks properly evangelized
• You will curate best practices and known-good patterns & architectures for partner developers

What we look for:

• Knowledge of Data warehouse, Lakehouse and interest in becoming an expert on the full breadth of the Databricks platform
• Enterprise architecture skills in the context of data products
• 1+ years of experience with SQL
• Working knowledge on clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 1+ years experience in partner solutions architecture or business development
• Proficient writing code in Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka
• Ability to travel to domestic and international locations
