Job Summary

Barings Investment Technology Product Management (ITPM) is seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in leveraging cutting edge technology to drive scale and deliver innovative solutions. In partnership with Barings Investment teams, the individual will be responsible in executing on a multi-year technology platform transformation using Aladdin. The position provides the candidate with the opportunity to work collaboratively across the many different lines within Barings Investments including Public Fixed Income, Global Equities, Private Assets, Real Estate and Multi Asset. The individual should be a domain expert in topics such as Security Risk Analytics, Performance Attribution, Portfolio Risk (VaR & Tracking Error), Portfolio Construction and be a key advisor in future design discussions.

Primary Responsibilities

• As the Technology Product Specialists covering a variety of stakeholders in Investments, the candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions and services
• Develop deep relationships across Barings' Investment teams to unlock areas where technology can be leveraged effectively and address any gaps
• Maintain a strong communication and partnership with the Aladdin Product Team and Financial Modeling Group to ensure that Barings is leveraging the latest features and models
• In partnership with other leaders, manage the Aladdin platform with primary representation in Investments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related institutional buy-side technology experience, particularly in the use of Aladdin, with a proven track record of success that includes understanding of public and private markets
• Must work extremely well within a team-based environment while also being independent and self-motivated
• Demonstrate an understanding of Barings' overall business, develop product knowledge across Barings' investment capabilities, and possess the ability to articulate and communicate effectively
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills
