Technology Resilience Manager

Under the direction of the Director - Business Resilience, the Technology Resilience Manager supports resiliency activities, such as managing technology resiliency engagements, developing a technical testing framework, providing oversight on technical recovery plans and testing documentation, providing technology resiliency related training and documentation support, and managing 3rd party resiliency risk reviews.

Responsibilities:

Use knowledge of industry standards, organizational strategy, and technology risk to achieve the following:

• Develop and mature the Technology Resiliency (TR) program including a network of sponsors and coordinators, manage related deliverables
• Provide oversight of technical recovery plans
• Develop a technology resiliency focused testing program to validate resiliency strategies, capabilities, and plans as well as providing oversight
• Conduct TR awareness and training initiatives where appropriate
• Develop and maintain related documentation and products

Other duties as assigned to support the overall Business Resilience program including:

• Manage the 3rd party resiliency risk reviews
• Support governance and risk activities within the Technology Resilience space
• Support crisis management and business resilience exercises as well as real events where needed
• Support Fusion planning system functionality as a back-up
• Coordinate initiatives with Business Resiliency colleagues where appropriate to promote mutual success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in technology resiliency/technology disaster recovery, required
• 3+ years of technology recovery testing and Program and/or Project Management, required
• Understanding of technical environments, infrastructure, and services
• IT governance and risk experience, preferred

If you live in CO, CA, NY, Washington State the annualized pay range for this role is $117,000 - $158,400.

The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
