Technology Resiliency Coordinator and Optimization Lead
Job Description
- Lead the preparation and coordination of technology recovery tests, review test plans, ensure execution, and track post remediation.
- Drive proactive peer review assessments with specific focus on overall resiliency and availability related to Asset and Wealth Management Applications, Supporting Infrastructure, Cloud services (internal/external), Databases, Middleware, Batch Servers, Storage (SAN/NAS), and Backup technologies.
- Engage the Business Continuity Management Internal Groups to lead and develop Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans (Documentation, Evaluation, and Reporting).
- Work with application/infrastructure/service owners and support teams to develop and track remediation of identified resiliency improvement opportunities.
- Ensure Technology Recovery Action Plans, Business Continuity Plans, and Business Impact Analysis's are developed and maintained in accordance with Policy and Strategy.
- Interact with the Resiliency Strategy/Governance team to ensure compliance and understanding of business scope, status, and issues for all Business Continuity Plans, Processes and Tests.
- Interact with Cross functional teams to validate technologies have appropriate recovery solutions, and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) meet business requirements.
- Review technology recovery methodologies and control procedures to ensure inclusion of leading best practices and technology changes that are occur firm-wide.
- Manage cyber resiliency program efforts that measure the firm's ability to recover from a Cyber Malware attack in accordance with firms policies and control procedures.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders.
- Report overall program status updates on team meetings and steering committees.
- Use out-of-the-box ideas to drive end-to-end process improvements
- Learn new automation tools to be able to identify automation opportunities
Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS Degree or an equivalent level of experience
- Must be an expert in the process of ITIL Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) involving system interdependency mapping and analysis identified from the BIA
- Must have experience with and be able and willing to, at times, operate and manage incidents in high stress, high visibility situations in front of executive management.
- Familiar with Cyber recover strategies backups for Databases, Filesystems, Database Restore, and Cyber Plan Recovery documentation.
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Release and Risk Management principles and practices
- Expert knowledge and understanding of information systems technology, and structure (Operating Systems, Network, Storage, Database Management Systems, HA/DR configurations, and Backup technologies)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Data Center configurations (High Availability, Resiliency)
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation and interpersonal skills; must be willing and able to speak/present confidently
- Ability to communicate across business lines and throughout the various levels of management hierarchies
- Demonstrated broad technical knowledge of infrastructure technologies in each of the following areas:1)Mainframe Components 2) Distributed Components 3) Mid-Range Components
- Experience in testing within technology, operations or business
- Strong Knowledge of IT Control policies
- Technology program management, project management experience
- Data Analysis, Validation, Testing, and Reporting experience
- Demonstrated broad technical knowledge of infrastructure technologies
- Passionate about automating processes a plus
- Proficiency with Tableau, Qlik, or similar systems a plus
- Business process automation with Python or similar a plus
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control(CRISC) or related is preferred
- 3-5 years of diverse technical experience in applicable Data Testing environment
- 2+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing - leading initiatives
- 2+years of technology resiliency experience
