Our client is one of the largest insurance companies in Japan. Our client is one of the largest insurance companies in Japan. We develop insurance products manage them and pay claims in response to changes in society and the risks associated with them.
We are also considering the development of new businesses such as the creation of related businesses in addition to our core insurance business.
We are looking for a person who can work together with our clients to develop businesses that contribute to solving social issues utilizing IBM’s technology in a position as a technology sales representative of IBM and sometimes with the involvement of IBM Consulting colleagues.
Your Role and Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the coordination of client needs with the deal generation team technical team and brand team from proposal to closing of the deal.
You will also work closely with the consulting team on new business creation.
Communicate with the client CIO and his/her management team to understand the requirements and challenges define the future vision and develop a technology roadmap to solve the issues and implement the requirements to reach that future vision.
Based on the roadmap we develop architectures solution outlines and high-level designs on a project-by-project basis.
Design and deliver the optimal cloud and IT infrastructure for the customer in combination with a variety of other leading products and services.

This position requires the ability to think and act from a broad and broad perspective because you will be representing IBM to one of Japan’s leading insurance industry clients. This position requires the ability to think and act from a broad and broad perspective.
As a leader of One IBM you will be able to communicate closely with management members of both the client and IBM.

This is a sales role where you will act as an IBM representative for life and non-life insurance customers. There is no distinction between products or services and you will be responsible for the entire customer base.

Highly motivated individuals who want to develop deep relationships with specific customers and use IBM technology to contribute not only to customer issues but also to social issues in Japan.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
・Experience in negotiations with customer CEO/CIO/CTO and management experience in corporate sales
・Knowledge and experience in service and solution business in the IT industry
・Minimum of 3 years in a solutions sales role with a consistent track record of achieving personal goals
∙ Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
∙ Ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with customers
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
・Leadership skills and the desire to lead multiple role members within IBM.
・Ability to take on new challenges without being restricted by traditional sales activities.
・Communication skills (ability to explain rationale based on logical thinking)
