Your Role and Responsibilities
With executive-level presence youâll strategically advise clients across business and technological matters. Youâll co-create across customer and IBM teams to prove the value of IBMâs products service and people through demos proof of concepts (POCs) and minimal viable products (MVPs).

As a world-class resourceful sales leader youâll integrate a matrixed network of multi-skilled sales teams across IBM 3rd party seller Partners and customers. Coordinating unique experiential sales engagements youâll establish deep levels of trust that lead to increases in share-of-spend with the Air Force and Space Force clientsâ IT investment decision makers.
Championing an entrepreneurial growth-mindset youâll coordinate the delivery of value by focusing on the Air Force client mission applying Federal industry expertise and leveraging technology skills that drive accelerated value and success for clients.

- Leading all aspects of your customer relationship and establishing IBM as a trusted partner across IBMâs entire technology portfolio to drive strategic innovation and results â for IBM and your Air Force and Space Force clients.
- Combining contemporary cloud data AI automation security and /or storage skills with Federal expertise and an understanding of your clientâs mission to influence strategy deliver value and accelerate client success.
- Using implicit leadership to direct an extended IBM client and /or seller Partner team through the end-to-end sales process; from creating new opportunities and progressing them to closure.
- Collaborating with other sales Leaders and customer contacts to frame the opportunities and business value in order to prioritize co-creation sales engagements.
- Mentoring junior sales reps to help them understand both client mission and the applicable IBM technology and how to talk to customers about both.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Veteran level track record of success in complex technology sales and account relationship /development environments.
- Demonstrable deep expertise about the Federal IT market
- Solid credibility and confidence around cloud data & AI automation security and storage technologies in addition to experience with contemporary methods for cocreating client solutions.
- Excellent people communication and collaboration skills with a proven record of Federal executivelevel networking and influencing throughout the successful closure of complex technology sales cycles. (c. $250k $multimillion deals).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience of working with any of IBMâs products and services (Training across IBMâs product suite is provided)
- Experience with Air Force and Space Force clients
- Strong mentoring skills and experience
