Dentsply Sirona's Technology Specialist, National Accounts develop strong relationships with National Account Managers (NAMs), customers and distributor partners to understand their business, introduce them to Dentsply Sirona's premier technology products and support their ongoing needs.
• Represent and support all clinical & Technical IOS/CAD/CAM, Imaging & Cloud Services within the DSO customer segment• Supports overall technology equipment activity within the DSO customer segment, including trainings, advising customers, organizing peer to peer selling events, attends tradeshows• Develops new prospects and interacts with existing NAMs & customers directly or in collaboration with dealers to sell the division's products and/or services• Develops and implements a sales business plan for the DSO customer segment in collaboration with marketing and other partners• Coordinates and conducts meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences to build product demand• Provides account service to assigned and prospective customers• Provides crucial dealer relationship building including sales presentations, sales closing, product knowledge updates, and any other relevant activities while maintaining communication with key dealer personnel such as branch/center managers, regional/zone managers, and sales personnel• Develops and maintains strong collaboration with internal teams• Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary
Education: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Certifications/Licensing: • Valid driver's license is required
Years and Type of Experience: • Experience in/or appreciation of dental industry preferred• Minimum of 5 years of business to business sales experience• Capital equipment roles require 3 or more years of capital equipment sales experience; CAD/CAM or Imaging preferred• Expected required travel is 50%
Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities: • Ability to meet divisional goals and key performance objectives• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and experience in resolving conflict and problem solving• Capable of working independently • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations• Must display interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers, employees and others in a professional and tactful manner• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public• Ability to move up to 100 pounds in and out of a vehicle.• Ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis up to 8 hours or more per day• Expected required travel is 50%• Ability to travel overnight as required
