- Develop proof of concept applications to validate proposed solutions.
- Continuously review and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and propose changes as needed.
- Contract(or) oversight.
- Assist with the establishment and adoption of technology architecture standards and methodologies.
- Write policies.
- Consult with/lead other Senate team.
- Write RFPs.
- Review and evaluate responses to RFPs.
Required Work Experience
- 8-10 years’ experience as a lead software engineer and demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
Required Special Skills/ Knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders from across the organization.
- Ability to explain technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High level of self-discipline and ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to organize, manage, and prioritize many tasks.
- High aptitude for continuously learning new skills.

- 5+ years experience working with ServiceNow implementing, designing, developing, integrating, and supporting the following ServiceNow platform features/functions, including:

- Service Portal
- Workflows
- Knowledge
- KPI, Reports, and Dashboards
- Roles/permissions
- Demonstrated capacity to excel in fast-paced environments and consistently deliver on time.
- Proficiency in collaborating within an Agile team setting.
- Capable of handling multiple responsibilities and paying meticulous attention to detail across different tasks.
- The capacity to verbally and in writing communicate with team members, development staff, customers, consultants, and management.
- Skilled in working autonomously to finish project tasks.
- Proficient at articulating technical challenges and solutions in a way that is understandable to both technical and nontechnical listeners.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving intricate technical problems.
- Capability to function both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in strategizing and implementing ServiceNow projects and upgrades.
- Possessing a strong sense of self-discipline and the capacity to work autonomously.

- Skilled at utilizing ServiceNow’s development tools like Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Integration Hub.
- Possessing expertise in ServiceNow’s scripting language, such as JavaScript and GlideScript.
- Specialized in optimizing performance, integrating systems, and designing databases.
- Experienced in ServiceNow development, specializing in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS).
- Experienced in managing and mentoring technical teams, with strong leadership skills.
- Proficient in Oracle, SQL Server, .NET, and Java.
- Skilled in creating system interfaces, including APIs, SOA, RESTFUL, and JSON.
- Familiarity with developing customized applications.
- Knowledgeable in Agile and Scrum methodologies with extensive experience in the SDLC.
- Adept at managing requirements, with the added benefit of expertise in GitLab.
- Experience using ServiceNow applications HRSD and CSM.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly develop proofs-of-concept for clients.
- Coordinating between cross-functional teams has been part of my experience.
- Knowledge of how to seamlessly integrate ServiceNow with various enterprise systems.
- Experience working with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Understanding of ServiceNow upgrade methods and industry best practices.
- Skilled in creating and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions for the future.
- Capable of understanding and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Desired Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly preferred.
Working Conditions
- No exceptional physical demands.
Security Clearance
- This position requires that the applicant obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens in order for the SAA to submit your application for a security clearance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
