Technology/Operations Internship

Overview

MedTrans Go's platform acts as a digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities ("customers") with businesses and individuals providing medical transportation, interpretation, home health care, and prescription delivery services ("service partners"). The Technology/Operations intern will work on a myriad of projects with our Technology and Business Operations teams including assisting in research of and establishing guidelines for security and healthcare certifications (e.g. SOC 2, HITRUST, etc.), assisting in application integration between MedTrans Go technology and EHR systems / Customer software, and ensuring our web and mobile applications meet our customers' quality needs.
This is a paid full-time internship during EST business hours. We are currently accepting applications for Winter/Spring 2023 and Summer 2023 start dates.
Qualifications

• Troubleshooting skills such as QA testing, customer support, debugging, and problem solving
• Ability to understand how business, operations, and technology align to support customers needs
• Familiarity with testing web/mobile applications
• Familiarity with creating flow diagrams (UX)
• Passionate about building relationships to connect with and earn trust from customers
• Initiative and a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Innovative thinking, creativity, and curiosity

MedTrans Go is a HealthTech startup that provides healthcare facilities access to medical transportation, interpretation, home health care, telemedicine, and delivery services. We work with medical practices, hospitals, and similar care facilities, as well as legal offices, to eliminate the burden of patient coordination via our online platform, allowing healthcare workers to easily and efficiently schedule services to reduce patient no shows and get patients the care they need.
