ABOUT THE ROLE
As the TechOps Lead at Biofire you will operate as a team of one and be responsible for ensuring your teammates are fully enabled by their technology each and every day by supporting a variety of services, managing projects and acting as a proactive first and last point of contact for end user support. You will be the internal owner responsible for administering, maintaining and developing Biofire’s business software suites, hardware assets, and infrastructure to ensure the technology tools your colleagues rely on are up-to-date, functional, and effectively deployed without disruption. To succeed you will need to be proactive, exceptionally detail-oriented, have a strong technology infrastructure background, and be a rapid and disciplined technical problem-solver. You will constantly be on the lookout for problems you can crush and ways to improve the day-to-day work of your teammates and take pride in maximizing the efficiency of every single person, system, and project you encounter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:
- Provide in-office support to enable and unblock the Biofire team by ensuring office and employee technology is always performing effectively;
- Continuously examine for tech and processes that can be improved across the company and take measures to implement;
- Provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of employee laptops and workstations;
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues;
- Direct Biofire’s external TechOps service providers in the processing of support requests for effective and timely resolution of issues;
- Research, procure, and deploy new hardware and software solutions; and
- Educate teammates on how to get the most from their technology tools.

This is a full-time, salaried role that will require you to be in the office full-time. The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000.

LOCATION
Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver. This role requires team members to frequently collaborate in person. .
