TTI, Inc. is searching for a Telemarketing Sales Representative for our branch located in Northwest Fort Worth, TX. The Telemarketing Sales Representative will sell company products via the telephone by taking in-bound calls from other distributors seeking to buy available stock. The Telemarketing Sales Rep will sell and provide quick and efficient price and delivery quotes, ensuring business at the highest gross profit margin obtainable.

What our Telemarketing Sales Representatives do:

  • Sells products offered by TTI by taking inbound calls from distributors seeking available stock and selling the product requested at the highest gross profit margin. Success is measured through monthly sales reporting, quality objectives and regular management reviews.
  • Provides price and delivery quotes by retrieving the information from the company system and communicating the information back to the distributor quickly and securing the business.
  • Processes the customer's order by entering it into the sales database and expedites orders when necessary. Requires eye for detail, proof reading for accuracy, maintaining quality expectations, and follow-up. Failure to process and review in a timely manner can result to a loss of parts. This is measured by the customers on time delivery and RMA rate.
  • Expands product knowledge by utilizing all resources including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, and other sales representatives to be able to discuss product options with customers and sell TTI strengths.
  • Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain efficient sales cycle, following logical and systematic approaches, while the goal being to reduce sales errors and uphold quality to the highest level. This is measured by how many lines are shipped per sales person and determined how many lines were on time and crossed checked for errors.


What we look for in a Telemarketing Sales Representative:

Requires a HS Diploma or GED, prefer some college education; with one to three years of customer service and/or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Exhibits exceptional knowledge of company products and services.
  • Demonstrates persuasiveness, tenacity and strong selling skills.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally.
  • Reads, analyzes and interprets business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions.
  • Possesses working knowledge of company policies, procedures and computer systems.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) at a basic level required.
