Role Summary
The Part-Time TeleOps Driver is a multi-skilled position, responsible for remote driving, testing, and operation of the remote monitoring and control system for Magna's AV test fleet. The position will touch many functions and be an integral part of development activity. The candidate needs to be collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to clearly communicate across a multi-functional team. We're looking for open minded, enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented individuals who are highly motivated and ready to pull their sleeves up and help drive the future of mobility forward

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively monitor autonomous vehicle operations
- Respond to and manage critical test situations
- Assist with testing and data collection
- Provide continuous feedback on system operation and vehicle behavior
- Work hand in hand with Software, Hardware, Vehicle, and TeleOps Teams
- Play a key role in developing a TeleOps system that can be scaled at significant volume
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus
- Driving simulators work experience preferred
- Go carts driving
- E-sports - gaming skills
- Experience working in small multi-disciplined teams
Skills and Competencies
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and excellent driving experience in stressful situations
- Experience and / or willingness to work and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make decisive decisions at critical times
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Gaming skills are a key advantage and highly beneficial
- Ability to observe a multi monitor set up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexible shift hours
