Job Description
Immediate openings for Telephonic Nurse Case Managers. No call and no weekends! Openings at our Richardson location. Once fully trained, ability to work a hybrid remote/in-office work schedule is available. Must be a Registered Nurse.
Opus Medical offers an array of workers' compensation and injury benefit services that include medical case management, physician-led nurse case management, independent medical exam (IME), peer review and medical provider networks across several states. In addition to providing daily clinical oversight and support on occupational injuries, the team delivers education, training and published research.

Seeking an RN with at least 3 years’ experience. Bilingual a plus.

Essential Functions:
1. Performs initial history via telephone interview.
2. Data entry of medical records.
3. Confers with the Medical Director on all proposed treatment plans, specialist referrals, surgery requests, treatment requests, or other decisions outside of licensure.
5. Coordinates specialist referrals.
6. Answers questions and provides direction regarding medical treatment within scope of licensure.
7. Maintains accurate and timely entry of activity into database.
8. Maintains a confident and professional demeanor.
9. Adheres to all federal laws regarding release of medical information.
10. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
