Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a Teller Floater / Member Service Representative to support the branches in the Burien region. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered and provide for room for growth over time. The target salary range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50 depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $20.00 - $25.00.
As a branch employee, you will also be eligible for a wide range of incentives tied to certain products and services, paid out quarterly. This plan is designed to incentivize team members to not only meet but surpass the production goals set forth by the Credit Union management. Moreover, when a branch successfully meets their quarterly goals and passes the quarterly branch audit, we express our appreciation by providing a monetary incentive to the branch team members.
This position is eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus. $500 of the Sign-On Bonus will be paid out on your first paycheck and $1,000 will be paid on the check following your 6-month anniversary.

What You'll Do:
Teller (Member Service Representative):
Responsibilities:
- You will perform routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, etc.
Requirements:
- One-year experience in customer service position required; cash handling and retail sales experience is preferred.
- Ability to flexibly travel between branches.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
In addition:
- Must be bondable.
- Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.
Our Hours:
To best serve our members, this position requires an โin-personโ schedule. Shifts are typically Monday - Friday, 8:45AM - 5:15PM or 9:15AM to 5:45PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM -1:15PM affording a day off during the week.
This is a full-time position ranging from 35-40 hours in a typical work week. Your daily work location will vary based on branch needs primarily located within Burien & Southcenter. Our regions are designed based on locational proximity to provide you with reasonable commutes. After floating within your region, you will collaborate with management to join a home location.
