HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
As a member of the IT PMO, the Project Manager (PM) will lead and/or assist with the daily management, analysis, and delivery for cross-functional projects of various size and complexity. The PM will be the direct interface to a number of senior- and executive-level business and technical partners and must develop strong working relationships with all resources to ensure successful project execution. This position requires the ability to understand and help envision the big picture but must also be able to identify and design process improvement opportunities, document complex workflows, and become a subject matter expert on multiple internal and third-party systems. May also be a key resource in the development and continuous refinement of the firm's IT PMO.
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to execution. Will require the dotted-line management and direction of internal, consultant, and/or vendor resources throughout various stages of delivery.
  • Track, monitor, and report on realized project value, spend, and status for technology portfolios and assume overall delivery responsibility for a defined portfolio of projects.
  • Participate in the evaluation and project prioritization process, including the development of business cases, cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and related materials.
  • Monitor appropriate controls and governance structures to ensure on time, on budget, and quality delivery of assigned projects.
  • Create, maintain, and manage the review and approval of standard project documentation including, but not limited to: Statements of Work, Project Schedules, Technical Requirements and Specifications, Process Workflows, Test Scripts, Implementation Plans, and related documentation.
  • Translate high-level Business Requirements documents in to Technical Specifications, and help prioritize and manage requirements, possibly through a multi-phased delivery approach.
  • Lead and/or assist with the analysis and documentation of complex process workflows, future-state conceptual system designs, user interfaces, and similar components.
  • Identify, evaluate, obtain approval as necessary, and manage all changes in scope, including possible financial impacts associated to external service providers.
  • Respond to and manage systems and project related inquiries from end users.
  • Act as IT liaison between technical and business resources, and help mitigate and manage conflicts, risks, and issues.
  • Assist in the development and continuous refinement of the firm's IT PMO, and advocate and observe best practices to help improve and maintain Project Management professionalism with the firm.
  • Participate in the management and execution of business resumption planning and testing as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience
  • Experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or combined role on enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Strong Agile background and proven experience implementing via Agile and/or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Jira with emphasis on Agile ceremonies.
  • Ability to operate effectively and easily transition between strategic and tactical initiatives and assignments.
  • Must be a self-motivated leader, able to manage complex cross-functional projects with minimal direction.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proven experience preparing, presenting, and maintaining required SDLC documentation and artifacts.
  • Proven experience developing training materials and in training end-users on new procedures and/or applications.
  • Financial services related experience and/or certification preferred
