ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Associate Business Systems Analyst will develop and maintain a basic understanding of existing business processes and the information and data they require. You will leverage technology and build additional systems and processes to enable business operations and analytics. The candidate must enjoy learning and experimenting with technology to develop systems and information in user-friendly, digestible formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and achieve satisfaction in seeing a project to completion.

• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
• Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Maintains system procedures by writing and updating
• Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
• Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Provide timely resolution to assigned Service Desk incidents, escalate if necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline preferred
• 1-2 years' experience analyzing business systems
• Some experience driving solutions in enterprise information systems including ERP (Infor, Syteline) experience a plus 
• Knowledge of databases and data stores, and how to access data?
• Microsoft Office experience required
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong verbal / written communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat
• Standard start time: 7:00 a.m. 

EXPECTED COMPENSATION: $36.00 -   $45.00 

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
