Temporary Editorial Project Manager, CRM (Contributors)

Forbes is looking for an editorial project manager to help manage our SalesForce customer relationship management (CRM) platform and help onboard new editorial contributors to the Forbes network.

This project manager will trace the Forbes edit team's contributor workflow from lead generation through recruiting, vetting, contracting, onboarding, and management of thousands of outside contributors.

This person will report to the Senior Editor, Contributors, and will work with the contributors team and with colleagues in editorial operations, product, accounting and outside developers. In addition to working with the Forbes team, this person will be the point of contact for new contributors during onboarding and responsible for some training.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new contributors, including helping to set up their CMS accounts, vendor paperwork, and troubleshoot questions
• Help usher contributor candidates through Salesforce for the edit team, maintaining weekly and monthly progress reports in Salesforce
• Develop new Salesforce reports and update CRM as needed
• Coordinate with Forbes tech support and outside developers to main Salesforce functionality
• Optimize project management system and onboarding workflow
• Organize planning/scheduling and tracking daily/weekly workflow of the contributor edit team's recruiting and onboarding efforts
• Maintain meticulous documentation

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience with Salesforce CRM tools
• Familiarity with content management systems and onboarding/training new users
• Project management skills and facility with project tools
• Adept at navigating demands of multiple stakeholders
• Is collaborative, with expert communication skills and experience leading trainings
• Highly organized and able to diligently document processes and projects for redundancy
• Experience in a newsroom or editorial media organization

The hourly rate for this role is $27.00 - $30.00
