Temporary Part Time Accountant

To date, we have launched and operate Metal Pay (digital banking and crypto wallet) and XPR Network, a distributed ledger for identity and interaction with the card and banking payments settlement layer.

We are actively seeking a part time (10 hours per week) contract Accountant to join our team and provide highly detailed accounting and bookkeeping skills in a fast paced, high growth, start-up company. This person will be able to pivot from one project to the next, quickly and efficiently. They will also be responsible for providing extremely detailed reports in Excel using very large data sets.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with team members to provide useful, necessary, and highly detailed financial reports using large Excel spreadsheets.
• Process Accounts Payable, billing reconciliation, and filling 1099’s.
•  Process Payroll functions.
• Post journal entries and prepare detailed GL Schedules.
• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities, contributing to PBC schedules, narratives, etc.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

What You'll Bring:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, SumIF, ect.).
• Ability to navigate systems like Quickbooks and Bill easily.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Works well in a fast paced, high-growth startup, with an ever-changing environment.
• Experience in Fintech preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
