ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Procurement Assistant role is a temporary position within the procurement function that assists Buyers with their duties. The position should be someone with potential to grow into the Buyer function with development.

• Expedite late deliveries
• Update component parameters
• Compile and analyze data
• Manage assigned components
• Efficiently communicate with suppliers
• Process Rejected material and secure replacements
• Review and process surplus and obsolete material
• Performs other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, organization skills, and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in Manufacturing Environment preferred
• Proficient in use of Syteline MRP system a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Occasional overtime is required
• Assignments are complex and broad in scope requiring outstanding creativity, superior initiative, judgment, and leadership
• Must have ability to occasionally lift up to 30lbs and work in a standing, sitting, or walking position for prolonged periods of time
• Working environment includes office settings, manufacturing floor, and warehouse 
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat
• Standard start time: 6:00 a.m. (negotiable)

EXPECTED COMPENSATION: $25.00 - $35.00 

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
