This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Test Analyst in Spain.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software systems within a structured and high-impact delivery environment. This position focuses on end-to-end testing activities across system development and maintenance, contributing directly to the delivery of robust and high-performing applications. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements, helping to reduce defects and improve overall software quality. Working in a remote-first setup, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project stakeholders across Agile teams. The role requires strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in a fast-paced public sector context. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities
  • Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and regression test packs for ongoing releases
  • Establish and maintain traceability between test cases and business requirements
  • Execute, document, and analyse test results, identifying defects and maintaining detailed defect logs
  • Monitor, report, and communicate progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Review and refine test cases and scripts based on outcomes and evolving requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on testing practices and quality assurance approaches
  • Estimate testing effort to support accurate project planning and delivery timelines
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance in a senior role
    • Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, including system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
    • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools, including test automation exposure
    • Ability to create detailed and structured test cases from technical and functional specifications
    • Strong understanding of QA principles, testing lifecycle, and software development processes
    • Experience maintaining traceability matrices and ensuring requirements coverage
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex systems and identify issues
    • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in Agile environments and manage multiple priorities
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in delivery-focused environments
    • English proficiency at native level or CEFR C2 equivalent
